William J. Wagner, JR., M.D.

Dr. William Wagner received his medical degree from the University of Texas. He completed his internship and residency at NRMC in Virginia. Dr. Wagner
served as the Chief of General Surgery in Corpus Christi, Texas prior to joining Victoria Surgical Associates in 1983. He currently holds appointments in
many of the area hospitals, including DeTar Hospital and Citizens' Medical Center in Victoria, Cuero Community Hospital and Yoakum Community Hospital. He serves as Chairman of the Physicians' Leadership Group and Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Detar; at Citizens' Medical Center he is an active member of the Trauma Committee.
