Sean Hamilton, M.D.

Dr. Sean Hamilton is our newest member of the Victoria Surgical Team. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with Merit in 1988. He served as a Naval Flight Officer and few EA-6B Prowlers from the USS Kitty Hawk. During his military service he was awarded an Air Medal, Navy Commendation Medal, in addition to other medals and commendations. After completion of his military service, he enrolled at the Medical College of Virginia and received his medical doctorate. He went on to complete his general surgery residency in Denver, Colorado and relocated to Victoria, Texas in September of 2007. Dr. Hamilton is certified to perform the VNUS Closure Procedure on patients with venous reflux disease. He sees patients at Detar North, Detar, Citizens Medical Center, Gonzales Healthcare System Memorial Hospital, Warm Springs and Triumph Hospitals. Dr. Hamilton and his wife Kathleen are the proud parents of a son and daughter.
